Probate Fees And Charges
We charge 1.5% of the gross value of the Estate for administering probate matters.
We anticipate the work involved will take between 5 and 10 hours, charged at £300.00 per hour. This results in an estimated total cost of £2,500 – £5,000 + VAT, excluding disbursements.
The exact fee will depend on the complexity of the Estate. For example:
- If there is only one beneficiary and no property involved, the cost will likely be at the lower end.
- If the Estate includes a property, multiple beneficiaries, and several bank accounts, the cost will be higher.
Typical Probate Disbursements
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties, such as court fees. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a smoother process.
