Smita joined Markand and Co Solicitors in 2001 and has been a partner since 2006. She is a senior Solicitor, and immigration adviser with COFFA status awarded to her by the Law Society.

She specialises in various aspects of Immigration Law and with over 17 years of experience within the field, she endeavours to provide all clients with bespoke advice tailored to their specific needs. She is passionate about her work and is committed to deliver the best to achieve best outcomes for the clients.

• British Citizenships- through naturalisation and Registration / BOC /CUKC/Ancestry etc
• Preparing Appellant’s notices and Court of Appeal matters from a refusal of a statutory

              appeal or Judicial Review.

Smita also practices and deals with Residential Conveyancing, Family matters, Wills / Probate, Powers of Attorney, affidavits etc. She also has considerable experience in preparing Power of Attorneys, Statutory Declarations, Affidavits, Statements and certifying legal documents.
